CSI’s Legacy of Transformative Events (1994 – Present)
Since its inception in 1994 as the International Chamber for Service Industry (ICSI)—later evolving into the Chamber for Service Industry (CSI)—the organisation has successfully curated and delivered 200+ landmark events, conferences, conventions, and mega gatherings that have played a defining role in shaping India’s service-sector ecosystem.
These platforms have brought together global leaders, NRIs, corporates, government officials, youth, policymakers, and industry icons, catalysing collaboration across health tourism, wellness tourism, ecotourism, nature tourism, adventure tourism, and allied service domains.
CSI’s annual conventions are known for high-level deliberations, policy dialogues, celebrations, recognitions, awards, and honours, while its job melas have consistently connected thousands of youth with meaningful employment opportunities, bridging skills with industry demand.

Medical Tourism & Wellness Tourism Summits
(1998, 2005, 2012)
Pioneering platforms that positioned India as a global wellness destination through deliberations on Ayurveda, naturopathy, integrative medicine, and non-invasive healing, attracting international delegations and laying foundations for India’s wellness export strategies.
Rural Tourism & Cinematic Tourism Conclaves
(2007, 2015, 2022)
Focused on revitalising village economies and promoting film-induced tourism. The 2015 Mumbai–Chandigarh Conclave led to the creation of India’s first Single Window System for film, TV, and music industries at the UT Guest House, Chandigarh, streamlining permissions, talent onboarding (dance & performance roles), and local youth skilling—creating a win-win for creators and communities.
